As far as the spelling debate goes....you put quotations around his spelling of the word incidentally giving the author of the previous post the idea that his spelling was in question. I would suggest less punctuation to free up the available characters for these posts. Count the number of question marks and periods you? use to make your point. Lots of wasted space there that could be used for proper spelling and grammar. You can get your point across in multiple comments if you wish.

So here is what the creator of this video series has to say. I think you, as a poker enthusiast who admittedly only plays the craps table in his spare time, could use a 300+ minute lesson at the table (with a former dealer, floor man and pit supervisor with years behind the game) as I doubt you have spent that much time in front of someone who might know the casino's side of this story a little better than you. They sell books in the gift shop that say what you are saying. Thanks for posting!!?

Wow, I dont at all know how this became a grammar or spellng debate!!? U notic i do anything at all 2 abbreviat my words...? Dont know how it is "pointles 2 take les thn 5x odds?? If i had $5 on th line and was looking 2 bet $5 more, th very best bet i could make would b odds(at 0% vig). Cant see y i would at that point place any numbrs at all(at 1.5 - 6.7% vig). I only play this game as? a break from poker, but i assur u that i can teach u to play craps at its best in 5 minutes. 300 min????

The amount of the bet in relation to the size of the player's bankroll must also be taken into account. This DVD set gives the player a chance to? get the most action for the least money. Yes, all strategies are destined to lose if the game is truly random. But, you've seen 10 minutes of 300 available minutes. You've seen a little more than 3% and come up with an opinion. That's like reading the title page of a book and writing a book report. Good luck in your life. Try to be less judgemental.

As for the craps, you're right. The vig against the total bet is reduced as you add more odds. But, taking less than 5x odds is pointless. I'm not going to argue the point only bc neither of us will relent. But...The Riviera in Vegas has 1000x odds. If the only relevant strategy is to reduce the vig as much as possible, then everyone should play there regardless of bankroll. But they don't bc reducing the vig is NOT the only consideration.?

Incedentally, "incidently" is not a word. Incident is a noun. The word you invented is an adverb. A noun cannot be modified into an adverb. Incidental is an adjective. It describes something as being to the side. An adjective can? be modified to become an adverb; an adverb describes an adjective. In this case, incidentally is the adverb of incidental. Don't criticize someone's grammar if the subject of the discussion is not grammatical in nature...particularly if you aren't an expert on grammar.

"Incidently" a roll of a set of dice is a completely RANDOM event. If we admit that, then it naturally follows that NO decision can b? made about the future based on th past. This truth makes all these strategies bogus. The only relevant "strategy" is to play all of these games to the least house edge--nothing else exists. Casinos love all these strategies, thats why the craps table has so many different bets---it encourages th development of all these hilarious strategies.

Strange sentiment, and a complete nonresponse to my comment. If u bet on the pass and make your odds 5X, u have made the vig for your overall? action of:1.414%/[1+(5X0.667)]= 0.326%. (Dont is even better). Compare where that will take you with making a series of bets all day that have a vig of 6.67%, 4.0%, and 1.52%lol. Casinos love people who play the place/press game, and u have much less chance of a winning session at it, or a streak of winning sessions, or coming up with a plus for the year.

Incidentally, the gentleman's DVD? set is 5 hours long, so don't judge it in ten minute intervals. I know that's what the clips is about, but the strategy is more than you see here.

The idea of taking the odds in a crap game to reduce the vig is an illusion. Taking odds does not affect the pass line edge. The vig against you is still about 1.4% on all money bet on the passline and all money bet on the come. No amount of odds can change that. Since taking the odds on your passline and come bets pays you according to these true odds, the vig on this bet is 0% so they are good bets to make. The best in fact. But they don't reduce the edge? against your line or come bets.

I think that using any of the various ways one might define success at a game, one will always be better off playing his game giving the house the least edge. You will go home with a plus more often. On the days u lose, your losses (on average) will b smaller. And yes, on the days u win, your wins (on average) will be larger. If we would do a long test on this matter, (and endeaver 2 somehow both have about the same average overall action) we will find that this "press? up til u lose" game is poor

You're right, you can't beat the house. But no one is playing this game to support their households. They're playing for excitement. And there's nothing more exciting than placing and pressing the numbers on a hot roll. You can? take your pass line and odds bets, make all the come bets you want and take those odds too. You won't lose as much as a place bettor, but you will never even come close to winning as much as a place bettor either.
By: 1nickdel. on 17 Apr 12, 19:48:28
On a good roll, you must forget about the money you leave on the table. It's gone. Let the house have it, so long as you? made your small fortune along the way. If you get bent out of shape about this money, you can't play the game to the max.
By: timboslice702. on 17 Apr 12, 06:25:49
You will never win with this... Your not even betting your best odds which is backing? your pass line
By: tampicokeed. on 30 Mar 12, 22:24:47
the only "strategy" on these games is to always make bets that give th house th least edge. Period. Placing th 4/10 is a 6.7%, and placing th 5/9 is a 4% edge bet. The total house edge on th game demonstratd is roughly around 3 %. Compar with pass/full5X odds at .323%--that is 9X as much loss 2 th house!!? It will not take long 2 demonstrate that it will b very hard 2 b ahead at th game. Th idea that u r "playing with house money" in no way reduces th house edge. No one who plays a lot is ahead

That? is a great question. It is up to you and your comfort level. I often have more on the layout than in the rail but it is always houses dough out there. I never feel bad when the house wins its own money back. I'm looking for that "jackpot" scenario when the dice just keep rolling and I can press to the table limit and just get paid when the numbers hit. You never know when it is going to happen and neither do the dice. Thanks for watching my vids!! Good luck to you!!

Well how do you know when a good time to pull your money for profit is, I went last night and nobody... I mean nobody pulled their money. They had a bunch of money out? there (pretty much all houses) but they would lose it all because every like 10 throws 7 came up.

Sweet!! Now go and put some of that hard earned dough to good use and purchase my DVD set to learn how to make a bundle instead? of just a small profit. A $50 investment in my production is nothing compared to how much one can loose without a good betting strategy and knowledge of the game to work with. I show WAY more stuff in my DVD than what is here on YouTube. Let me know if you have any questions. I'm happy to answer. Good luck to you!!!
