Sadly, just the bail out money could have been better given to the ALL the people in the USA (instead of the bankers) and every, man woman and child would have gotten over? $10 000 EACH. Imagine $1000 given to each and every American person per month for twelve months. Creating massive extra revenue that would be flowing through the economy right now. That would be better than billions sitting stagnant in the C.E.O.'s bank accounts as bonuses and used to pay bank debt that turns money stale!

I think? a big problem is that I don't want to listen to them, as they don't enunciate. I do support Misty as a host, but the dynamic captured here leaves a lot to be achieved. The lack of enunciation coupled with how buddy-buddy the hosts are make the viewer disengage, feeling more that it's a conversation between the hosts rather than a report on the news with conversation interspersed to make it seem less formal.

Please, don't use Germany as an example of "low gov spending" anymore--it's silly. They also have universal healthcare, cheap colleges (paid for by...wait for it...TAXES), unbelievable social programs (one of my relatives got FULL pay for two years and his job back when he was fighting an illness), etc, etc.? They are running on a platform of empathy and gov control, and they're kicking ass all over the place. The end.

Don't worry; I know full well how Germany has a superior educational system because my dad was born there and many of my relatives still live there.I'm not understanding, though, why you keep pointing to Germany as some sort of alternative to our "dreadful" "socialist"? society. Debt ceiling raises are just staving off the inevitable troubles from years of corruption and? financial misconduct in all sectors. The main two options Obama has now are (1) let the economy touch down slowly as currency rapidly devalues in hopes of a recovery, or (2) default on national debts and face worse financial consequences than we saw in 2008. Personally, I think 'debtor culture' is already too far entrenched worldwide for anyone, even the President, to make a difference. We're fucked.
